Restoring Collagen
Collagen is an essential protein that boosts facial volume, keeps your skin hydrated, and gives you a healthy, youthful glow. As you age, your body may produce less collagen. When this occurs, your skin becomes less tight and is not able to regenerate new cells as quickly. Habitual movements can also create deep creases in certain areas of your body, especially your forehead, around your eyes, and around your mouth. Dr. Roth’s non-invasive dermal fillers not only alleviate these problems, but in many cases promote natural collagen production.
Treatment Options
Dr. Roth’s injectable facial contouring products include Radiesse®, Sculptra®, Dysport®, and Restylane®–all of which are safe and effective. They fill in fine lines and creases and add volume to different areas of your face. BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® use small amounts of a botulinum byproduct to relax muscles and stop the repetitive movements that may cause lines and wrinkles.
The Restylane Family of Fillers
The treatment options and brief descriptions for each injectable are listed below:
- Restylane
Restylane is ideal for anyone wanting to restore volume to their Nasolabial Folds (smile lines), and tear troughs (under eye hollowness). The number of sessions is dependent on results and last for up to one year.
- Restylane SILK
Restylane SILK is one of the newer fillers, ideal for those who want extra volume and hydration to their lips or to fill in vertical lip lines. The number of treatments is dependent on results, each lasting for 6-8 months.
- Restylane LYFT
Restylane LYFT is designed for patients wanting to restore volume to their Nasolabial Folds (smile lines) and cheeks. The number of treatments is dependent on results, which last for up to one year.
- Restylane Defyne
Restylane Defyne fills moderate to deep folds, such as the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines (vertical lines that circumscribe the chin). This is a remarkably flexible filler that integrates into the tissue, leaving a natural result that conforms to movement. The number of treatments is dependent on results, which last for up to one year.
- Restylane Refyne
Restylane Refyne fills mild to moderate folds, and performed more superficially than Restylane Defyne. Restylane Refyne is slightly less firm than Restylane Defyne, but similarly flexible which results in integration into the tissue, leaving a natural result that easily conforms to movement. The number of sessions is dependent on your desired results, which last up to one year.
- Dysport
Dysport is for anyone who wants to decrease wrinkles and reduce movement to the forehead, glabella (between the eyebrows), and correct crow’s feet. It is the preferred option for those who want to improve lines around and between the eyes. One treatment is prescribed every 3 months with effects lasting 3-5 months.
- Radiesse
Radiesse is mainly used for Nasolabial Folds (smile lines) and cheeks, but can also be used to rejuvenate the back of your hands. This is among the newer, longer lasting fillers. Patients can see effects almost immediately following one treatment. It remains effective for 12-24 months.
- Sculptra
Sculptra is for patients who want enhancements in the periphery of the face. It’s the ideal solution for conditions such as leaner faces, hollow temples, and deep folds around the nose and mouth. Three treatments over several months bring results that last 2-5 years.
